Hey, readers! I’m Brooke, the owner of Florescence.
Florescence was a product of the hardest season of life that I have ever survived.

In Spring of 2022, I lost the most important person in my life— my dad. Death and grief are thieves. They leave an empty shell in place of the person you use to be, and the fight out of that type of survival mode is one of the hardest battles someone will ever go through.
As a product of my fight through grief, in memory of my dad Roger Shirley, I have turned his little GMC into one of my dream businesses- a flower truck. What started as a flower truck quickly snowballed into my very own Floral Studio committed to making flowers affordable.
If death has taught me anything.. it’s that life is too short to not spend it doing what sets your soul on fire. Quit the job. Buy the car (+ the camper). Travel the world. Pursue your dreams. (And yes, I might be speaking from experience ;)
P.S. I could not have survived the battle through grief if it weren’t for my husband. He is the only thing that held me together. Thank you for giving me the space to pursue my dreams and allowing me to find healing on my own terms.
